Serious Sexual Assault In Chippenham
Investigations continue after a woman was attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning (23rd June)
It happened just beore 0130 near the Friday Market Car Park on Bath Road.
Police would like to talk to anyone who saw a bare chested man in the area around the car park, expecially two men who saw the man arguing with the victim. Three other men were in the area at the time. One had a distinctive tattoo on his neck looking like a scar with stitches.
DS James Stannard from Chippenham CID said:
"We would like to hear from anyone who thinks that they know who these people are or if you saw them in the area of the car park at approximately 0100am. We would also like these men to come forward and talk to us so that we identify them and establish the full circumstances of this incident. It is very important that we identify them and they assist us with our enquiries."
