Police are now questioning four people on suspicion of murdering Roger Millar - the 44 year old who was found stabbed in the street on Wednesday morning.

The latest arrests were made at 7pm last night. A 17 and 19 year old were taken into custody from a house in Rose Street.

Two 18 year olds were arrested near the scene of the murder on Wednesday morning.

They're all being questioned in connection with the death of Roger Millar from East Street in Swindon who was found in Barnum Court, Rodbourne at 1.30am on Wednesday with stab wounds.

He was taken to the Great Western Hospital but prounounced dead at 2.20am.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Matt Davey said:

"Detectives on Operation Mineral, and throughout Swindon, have been working around the clock investigating this murder. It is a fast moving investigation and we would particularly like to thank the public in the local area and in Swindon who have come forward with information.
