Record Breaking Business Start Up Figures For Swindon
What's being described as Swindon's 'entrepreneurial spirit' has lead to a rise in new businesses starting up in the area.
In the last six months, 759 new companies have been launched in the area according to Duport.co.uk which has gathered the information from Companies House records.
A spokesperson from Duport said: "The record-breaking number of new companies set up in the first six months of this year is fantastic news for Swindon. The area is showing entrepreneurial spirit in the face of difficult economic conditions, and so many business start-ups are a promising sign for future growth."
