Asda worker now hot favourites to win show.
The young singer impressed Nicole Scherzinger and guest judge Ne-Yo at Judges’s Houses with a powerful performance of dancefloor hit Titanium by David Guetta.
However the 21-year-old from Swindon has had to battle crippling nerves throughout the competition and even received medical treatment at Bootcamp after feeling unwell before his final performance.
His nervousness has split the judging panel in two with Gary questioning if the Asda worker had the mental toughness for the later stages of the competition - the impact of Twitter and newspapers is typically tough on contestants the further they progress.
However both Ne-Yo and Louis have backed the shy singer and his nervous energy, which could make him or break him in the Live Shows.
"You’re here because you’re talented, believe that when you sing,” said Ne-Yo, whilst Louis said the singer was "worth it.”
And, at Judges’ Houses, after much thought, Nicole decided to also put her faith in Jahmene and pick him as one of the three boys to go through to the Live Shows.
"If I put you through it's such a big risk. Fortunately I believe in you and I'm willing to take that risk," she told the stunned singer.
