A body has been found under burning debris in a Sainsbury's car park in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
The discovery was made by a police dog handler on a routine patrol in the car park who called in the fire brigade.
The body was found after the fire was put out.
Police say it is too early to say whether or not the incident is suspicious.
They are asking for anyone who was in the area of the car park in Bath Road between midnight and 3am to come forward.
The supermarket is currently closed.
Wiltshire Police are asking for anyone with information to call 101 or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they want to remain anonymous.
